What is it with all the stuff falling down lately?
I’m not talking about buildings in Christchurch because a good 7.1 rattle will do that to a city. No, I’m talking about our stadium crapping out during the September snowstorm, that building in Dunedin having a whoopsie last week and now a collapsing roof in Auckland.
I’d ponder that perhaps we are incapable of building good stuff any more but the building in Dunedin was an oldie.
Maybe it’s time we all started wearing hard hats as part of a Kiwi uniform.
