The man who has made billions of blokes happy and revolutionised the way we watch telly died this week. Robert Adler was one of the two men credited with creating the remote control. Without him we’d still be wearing a track in the carpet between our favourite chair and the telly.
Some say he played a huge role in the current couch potato problem but others (like my husband) call him a genius.
