Barry M Lip Paint

2013-10-barrymThis cute little lip paint came in my October 2013 GoodieBox and was in a vivid rose pink and I must admit, I was a bit dubious: I tend to wear neutral colours for lipstick and besides, I really thought the colour might have been a little too young for me.

But I decided to give it a go and was pleasantly surprised. It felt really light: much lighter than my normal lipstick, in fact. It wasn’t greasy but had really good staying power. Also, I loved the colour once it was on … there was much more depth to it than I expected.

It’s a little smaller than any of my other lipsticks but given the fact it’s a bit of a statement colour that is likely to go out of fashion faster than the more classic neutrals, that’s probably not a bad thing: it’s unlikely to still be on trend this time next year so you’re unlikely to want a long-term supply of the stuff.

It’s good value, too: $15 is pretty affordable
